Park in the car park at the starting point.
(S/E) Walk north with Route 37 behind you and climb over the fence using the wooden steps.
(1) Leave the main path and take the shortcut on the right, then rejoin the main path that runs alongside the Bruarà stream. After about 800 metres, the gravel path will become a dirt track, which is very muddy.
(2) The muddy path ends here and you will arrive at Hlauptungufoss. Many visitors stop here thinking that this is Bruarfoss and do not continue along the path. To continue the walk towards Bruarfoss, take the narrow path heading north.
(3) Pass Midfoss and continue north on the main road until you reach Bruarfoss waterfall.
(4) Once at Bruarfoss waterfall, turn around and take the same path you took on the way there to return to the car park (S/E).
