Avoid parking at the designated starting point as there is a charge. Instead, park at the entrance to St Emilion, at the music school for example.
This route is best enjoyed when it isn’t too hot. The route winds its way through the vineyards of the finest wines of the Saint-Emilion and Pomerol regions.

We completed this route at a normal pace, and it took us 3 hours and 30 minutes. The scenery was stunning, and there were some beautiful castles with prestigious names. Best done when it’s not too hot. Thanks again for this lovely route

Well spotted, Bernard QUESNEL
The route needed tidying up. I hope you weren’t too disappointed to have done 70m instead of 700

Error in the elevation gain: it’s not 699m; perhaps 69m, but I’m not sure
