Park along the main road.
(S/E) The route starts from the village square, where the bells and the torpedo are on display. Head towards the old town, keeping slightly to the left past a shop. Pass a narrow street on the right, and shortly afterwards leave the small pedestrian street for a hiking trail on the left that slopes gently downwards.
(1) Pass a path on the left (it climbs up from the rocks below) and continue along the path that runs beneath the terraces of the panoramic restaurants. There are several small viewpoints overlooking Agios Georgios Bay.
(2) At the next junction, keep left; the path on the right will be used for the return journey. From here, the path descends steeply to sea level. At the tight bends, continue straight on to enjoy the view. Then continue down the steep descent.
(3) At the isthmus, decide whether or not to go for a swim at one of the two beaches. Continue along the narrow path towards the headland. In a more open area, leave the path to the left to enjoy the view and the arch. Return to the path and continue along the headland. Pass a path on your right that descends to another small beach in the bay. Continue slightly uphill until you reach a small cave converted into a chapel and a cross.
(4) Turn back, cross the isthmus again, and continue uphill to the junction for the return route.
(2) Turn left, then at the next junction turn left again to reach a lovely viewpoint overlooking the two bays. Return to the previous junction and this time continue straight on, following a gentle uphill slope. Pass by a viewpoint with benches and head back to the village. Continue straight on or wander through its various flower-filled alleyways until you reach the starting point. (S/E)
