By car: From Calgary, Alberta, Canada, take the Trans-Canada Highway 1 W towards Lake Louise. At Lake Louise, continue on Highway 1 W. About 17 km after crossing into British Columbia, at the Takakkaw Falls sign, follow the signs to the right onto Yoho Valley Road and park in the car park at the end of the road (view of Takakkawa Falls, 373 m high in total and 254 m for the main fall).
(S/E) Head northwest on the Yoho Valley Trail, which follows the river. Pass a campground and, further on, return to the river.
(1) Cross a stream and continue north on the trail. After about 500 m, you will reach an intersection.
(2) Turn left onto a trail and reach the viewpoint of Angels Staircase Falls.
(3) Retrace your steps to the previous intersection.
(2) Continue north on the Yoho Valley Trail (on the left when returning from the waterfall). Follow Duchesnay Lake below on the left. Cross the Little Yoho River and arrive at a campground on the right.
(4) Turn left onto a trail and quickly reach the viewpoint overlooking Laughing Falls.
(5) Return to the main trail near the campground.
(4) Continue northwest (left when returning from the waterfall). Cross Twin Falls Creek. Walk between the river and the creek, then descend towards the creek and follow it to an intersection just after a left turn.
(6) Follow the Twin Falls Trail to the left (ignore the Yoho Glacier Trail on the right). Descend towards a campsite and cross a stream. Climb up the other side towards Le Chalet (tea house). Climb steadily with a few bends and reach the viewpoint over Twin Falls.
(7) Return along the main trail to the car park (S/E).
