Description of the walk

(S) Start from the Mirador de la Croix du Condor. Head down to the right of the Mirador
towards a group of three circular viewing points situated below.

(1) A group of three viewing points overlooking the canyon floor. Continue eastwards along the path that runs along the edge of the cliff.

(2) Another viewing point. Carry on along the same path, keeping the canyon on your left.

(3) Final viewpoint. 50 metres further on, turn right at the fork, heading slightly uphill towards the road. You’ll reach the road between La Cruz del Condor and Pinchollo at a place called La Cruz del Cura, where a vehicle can collect you (E).

Notes

There are no drinking water points along the route, but there are toilets at the starting point.
Make sure you bring a good windbreaker; at an altitude of 3,700 metres, the air is cool in the morning.

If you’re travelling by tour bus, the vehicle will drop you off at the Croix du Condor and pick you up at the Cruz del Cura.
If you are travelling in your own vehicle, you will need to walk back along the same route.

Worth a visit

This walk offers exceptional views of the Colca Canyon and the chance to see condors in flight, particularly in the morning between 7.00 am and 9.00 am.

Hello,

Actually, I did wonder whether I should specify the country, but I can see that Visorando features walks in many countries, not just France, so I thought that when you see a walk, it’s because you’ve searched for it in a particular region or country. Should I specify on all my walks that they’re in Peru?

Kind regards,

François

Hello,

A search on Google Earth suggests Peru.
I’ll add that to the author’s profile.
