Park in the Place de la Liberté car park, next to the Cave Coopérative.
(S/E) Cross the car park and turn left onto Rue des Aires. At the road, turn right and, at the crossroads, keep right onto Rue du Poulain (D125). At the next junction, turn left towards Roujan and continue for about 20 metres.
(1) Turn right, then left onto Rue des Jardins. Keep right at the junction with Rue de la Fontaine, then turn right onto Rue Puech Troupan and continue to the road.
(2) Do not follow the road but turn onto the path on the left running alongside the vineyards for about 700 metres. At the crossroads, turn right and continue to a five-way junction. Turn left and continue for about 300 metres.
(3) Go up the track on the left through the vineyard (panoramic view of the Thongue plain). Further on, cross the road carefully, pass in front of a wine press and take the pine tree-lined path opposite leading to the Brescou estate.
(4) After this, turn right, cross the road again with the same caution, and continue straight ahead through the vineyards. Cross a first track.
(5) Take the next track on the right and, at the crossroads, continue straight ahead and slightly to the left: panoramic view of the Causse d'Aumelas opposite. Descend towards the Château de la Baume; go around it to reach the D125. Before the road, take the path on the right along the edge of the vineyard for about 500 m, then walk carefully along the edge of the road for a few dozen metres.
(6) Cross over and turn left onto the track. After a mazet (small farmhouse), the track turns right and leads to a road, which you should take to the left for 300 metres.
(7) Turn right twice and begin the climb towards Le Travers. Turn left, walk alongside the almond trees and head towards the summit, taking care to follow the markings. Take the fitness trail to the orientation table, which offers a remarkable panorama (picnic tables).
(8) Return to the track and continue winding through the vineyards until you reach an intersection near two buildings.
(9) Turn left and, 300 metres further on, at the start of the bend, descend to the right towards the Bourdic estate. Turn right at the hairpin bend to pass above it and join a small road. Go up to the right and immediately turn left. Then continue straight ahead.
(10) At the irrigation pump, turn right and continue in the same direction, ignoring the turn-offs on the left. You will reach the road you crossed earlier. Turn left, then right, and do the same again after about 200 metres. You will come to a four-way crossroads (olive trees).
(11) Turn left and continue along Rue du Moulin (on the right, access to the windmill) towards Alignan-du-Vent. Continue right along Rue des Tioulets.
(12) At Plan de la Croix, turn left onto Rue des Aires, then turn left and head for the car park (S/E).
