Le Château Pointu walks

Explore the Montagne des Chèvres with its beautiful views over the Rhône valley. Explore the Rochers de Carnas and the Saint-Vérédème Chapel. Views over the plain of the Étang de Pujaut and the village rooftops.

A short, relatively flat, very accessible walk near Avignon. Expect a few sections over uneven terrain, such as stream beds, narrow (single-track) paths with dense vegetation, cliff-edge paths, and sloping rocky ground which can be slippery when wet. The route remains very accessible, however, with lovely views. Suitable for families with children, provided they are not prone to vertigo, or plan to avoid the two detours along the banks of the Rhône before reaching the castle.
