Park in the car park near the Prehistory Museum on the D9 road.
Yellow markings
(S/E) From the car park, head south on the D9 road and quickly turn left onto the small street marked in yellow towards the museum.
Join Avenue Louis Baixas and turn left. Walk alongside the museum and, at the intersection, take the road on the right, Avenue Léon Jean Gregory, which will take you to another intersection after passing the Théâtre du Millénaire.
(1) Turn left onto Chemin de la Tour. The tarmac gives way to a footpath.
Take the right turn and you will come to an intersection where you can make a round trip to the ruins of Tautavel Castle.
(2) Continue to follow the yellow markings towards the Tour del Far, ignoring the side paths.
Climb two slopes equipped with ropes, then continue along a balcony path until you reach a junction.
(3) Leave the path leading to Cases de Pène opposite and climb left to the Tour del Far.
Turn right at the next intersection and you will reach the tower and its magnificent 360° panorama.
Retrace your steps to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
