The access road is narrow, so it can be difficult for vehicles to pass each other. There is a café and free toilets available in the car park.
One of our favourite spots in Ireland, this short loop will take you to the tip of the Sheep's Head Peninsula!
All along the walk, you'll enjoy views and more views of the ocean.
You will also discover the other peninsulas of County Cork.

Caher Mountain loop starting from Killcrohane
The route follows various trails (Sheep'shead Way, Seefin Loop, Farranamanagh Loop). Climb up Caher Mountain, then take the ridge trail to descend and return to the starting point via the road. Very well signposted.
