The start is at the car park at the end of the road after Les Richards.
(S/E) The start of the walk follows the path leading up towards Le Palastre. The path then crosses a stream; it is at this point that the route leaves the road.
(1) Turn right and head due north. We had to break trail as the snow was fresh, but the terrain is easy. Our route runs alongside the wooded area.
Continue due north to the foot of a rocky ridge, which you’ll need to follow and then bypass to the left, heading north-west. Once past these rocks, reach the ridge and follow it to the summit.
(2) We stopped just before the summit, where there’s a magnificent view over the valley and the neighbouring peaks. We chose to descend via the same route.
(1) The end of the circular path follows the path taken on the way up to return to the car park (S/E).
