Set off from Tour Fondue beach. Two parking options:
- Paid car park for travellers heading to Porquerolles.
- Free parking on Avenue de l’Estérel.
(S) Head south.
(1) Pass Fort du Pradeau and sail south-south-east. Sail pastÎledu Grand Ribaud, on your port side, and continue towardsÎledu Petit Langoustier. Please note: this section crosses the route of the ferries running between Giens or Toulon and Porquerolles: observe the rules of way and watch out for the wake caused by the ferries. Arrive to the north ofÎledu Petit Langoustier, at the foot of the fort of the same name (possible stop).
(2) Complete a circular route by sailing along the coast of Île du Petit Langoustier, then Île du Grand Langoustier. Next, leave Anse du Maure to starboard and immediately turn right into a calanque just north of the cove (a lovely spot for snorkelling).
(3) Continue north-east along the coast.
(4) Pass betweenthe Îlotdu Cap Rousset, on the port side, andthe Îlede Porquerolles, on the starboard side. Follow the coast, heading east.
(5) Pass Pointe du Bon Renaud, then head east-southeast to reach the port of Porquerolles. Watch out for ferries and other motorboats!
(6) The return journey follows the same route in the opposite direction, either straight away or after a break of varying length (it is possible to spend the night on Porquerolles if you book in advance). This will take you to Tour Fondue beach (S/E).
