Park in the road just outside the Prince of Wales Pub (or in the pub if you intend to use it as part of the walk).
(S/E) Proceed down the track that runs beside the pub on the right and follows through some farm buildings.
Continue straight on this track to a metal farm gate incorporating a stile.
(1) Once over the stile, bear left and continue the path with a hedge to the left. The path joins with the base of the hill. At that point, you will enter a wooded area. Ignoring the stile on your right, continue straight, leaving the wooded area to open field.
(2) As you continue along this path, there is a wooden bridge to the left which takes you across a small stream. Cross over the stream and turn right after a few yards. Follow this path with a field to your left towards Fenacre Farm.
(3) Continue on the path until you will see two stiles. Take the stile on the right and on meeting a road, Cross over to a gate leading down to the Great Western Canal. Walk on the canal towpath with the canal on the left to Dunn's Court.
(4) There is some interesting industrial heritage to be seen, in the form of lime kilns with an information board explaining the workings. The canal enters a very narrow tunnel, just after these workings. Leave the canal up some steps to join the road leading back to Holcombe Rogus and the start point
