A good walk which allows you to explore the Langdale Pikes. Starting from Chapel Stile, this route avoids the popular paths up, and you may well see only 3 or 4 people as you ascend Blea Rigg on the way up to Sergeant Man. From then on, you will be with the many walkers who are there to 'bag the Pikes'. The way back involves the option for refreshments, followed by an easy amble along the valley bottom back to the start.
