This winter route takes you from Schilpario (Fondi) to the Campione Refuge, via the Cimon della Bagozza Refuge. On the route, you can check out the Chiesa di Maria Ausiliatrice e Santa Barbara Church.

Start: one of the various parking lots in Fondi
(S/E) From there, follow the signs that lead first to the Cimon della Bagozza refuge (about a 45-minute walk).
(3) Then continue, always following the marked trail, which in winter is always clearly visible in the snow, as it is a summer dirt road which leads to the Campelli pass.
(5) From the pass to the refuge, it is another 800 meters.
(6) Come back to Fondi following the same path.(S/E)
Buy a Gratta&Sosta parking ticket at the Schilpario shops (I stop at the Alpen Chalet because it's along the road).
In winter, the refuge Campione is closed, except on weekends and Christmas holidays. Check their Facebook profile in the Worth a Visit section to find out if it is open or for other information.
the refuge Cimon della Bagozza is almost always open , even in winter, check on his Facebook page.
Crampons are recommended in winter.
