Start: The Wheatsheaf (if you intend to use the pub) or park in the village
(S/E) Walk east along Main Road, taking in the attractive old buildings towards the roundabout on West Haddon Road.
(1) Cross to the opposite side of the road to pick up a lovely track which leads to Yelvertoft, passing (2) Crick Jubilee Wood.
(3) At Yelvertoft's High Street, turn right, pass All Saints' Church (4) and reach the canal.
(5) Follow the canal south and watch out for the bridge that takes you off the canal.
Note: If conditions are wet, you might prefer to continue along the canal, which makes the walk five miles long.
(6) Cross the bridge. The entrance to the footpath on your right is slightly hidden. The path is not well defined, but follow the gpx track which will take you through a couple of stiles, south past Crack's Hill.
(7) You re-cross the canal over a curved pedestrian bridge to follow the path back to Crick, passing through (8) St Margaret's churchyard.(S/E)
