The start of the route is located at the picnic area, near Place du 8 Mai 1945 in Bréhémont.
Yellow markings
(S/E) Take Rue des Déportés on the left, towards the cemetery. Turn right at the stop sign, then immediately left. Cross the hamlet of Les Pierrons.
(1) At the crossroads, turn right onto Rue de la Marmelinière, then take the first path on the left. When you reach the embankment, turn right. Continue straight ahead for about 2.5 km. Continue until you reach the fifth road on the left (roads and tracks combined).
(2) Cross the Vieux Cher, then a field and a stream. Turn left twice and follow the banks of the Indre at Rouissoir à Chanvre. Note that Bréhémont is the former capital of hemp.
(3) Keep going straight ahead. Ignore two tracks on the left. Find a path to take on the right. Cross the Vieux Cher again to come to another bridge.
(4) Turn left onto the track and follow the Indre river to the road (D119). Please note that this is a busy road.
(5) Turn right, then left again before the bridge. First turn right then left at a stream. Continue straight ahead until you cross the same stream again.
(6) Keep left at the crossroads by the same stream. After crossing the bridge, turn left again until you reach the road (Route du Port Buron).
(7) Follow the path that runs alongside a stream. Continue until you reach the track.
(8) Head straight ahead. Continue to the road (D119) and cross it. At the intersection with the water treatment plant, turn right towards Lieu-dit des Foucaults.
(9) At the crossroads, cross Rue de la Marmelinière and take Rue des Foucaults opposite.
(10) At the end of the street, turn right onto Rue de la Perfetterie. Take the first left (Rue du Croissant).
(11) Once you reach the embankment, turn left onto Avenue du 11 Novembre. You can admire the port and the church opposite.
(12) Just before the church, turn left to return to Bréhémont Town Hall (S/E).
