This walk, starting from the hamlet of Campu, reaches the ridge above the Luri valley and takes you past the chapel and bell tower of San Salvatore before reaching the abandoned hamlet of Mata, offering a superb view over the Luri valley all the way to the sea, with the Island of Elba in the background. Largely shaded, the route follows paths that are mostly very well maintained; the yellow markings are a little sporadic, but the trail is very clear. The downside of the shaded conditions is that there are relatively few viewpoints, though those that do exist are always very beautiful.
