Description of the walk

Setting off from the lodge, the information board shows the starting points for the various walks.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, follow the sign. Go round the small hill (The Bread Loaf) on the right and head down the path on the right to reach the junction.

(1) Continue straight on. Follow the descending path without venturing onto the steep slopes. You will then reach a crossroads.

(2) Ignore a fork on the left. Head down to The Crak.

(3) Take a short break on this rocky outcrop, where you’ll feel so small. Admire the view. The path then runs parallel to the cliff, turning left to reach the bottom of the valley. Notice the view of the waterfall, which gradually comes into view.

(4) Head straight up to the left towards the top of the valley to rejoin the path leading to The Crack.

(2) Follow the path to the right up to the lodge (S/E).
