Campanile di Montanaia

A beautiful hike ending at a magnificent cirque and rocky peak... but you have to earn it! Almost 900 metres of elevation gain (and therefore the same on the way back) straight up to the summit, much of it in the river bed on scree. The route is slightly different on the way back, with a section through the forest to avoid going back down the scree.

Worth a visit

You can see the bell tower from a viewpoint after a very short walk of about ten minutes through the forest, with a slight incline.
