(S) From the Busy church car park, head towards Besançon via the RD478.
(1) Head down towards the double lock.
(2) Once you reach the banks of the Doubs, turn left and follow the river for just over 1 km.
(3) Turn left onto the only path running alongside an orchard. You’ll reach the Pierre-de-Vorges in the woodland (a stone spanning a stream which you do not cross).
(4) Leave it on your left and follow the Moulin stream on the right, then across a meadow to the D104.
(5) Turn right; the path climbs for 500m and, at the top, turn left (lovely view to the west).
(6) Stay on this road, which becomes a track, until you pass some farm buildings (approx. 3 km).
(7) At the end of the track, take a hairpin bend to the left and follow it down to the foot of a barely visible farm (Ferme du Mongardot), then continue along a wide track to the 1870 War Monument, the highest point.
(8) Continue down the gentle slope until you reach a farm building (a recently built cattle shed with solar panels) visible on the left, which belongs to a farmhouse inn; take the path leading to it.
(9) Continue downhill to return to Busy and the church car park (S/E).
