In Fontfreyde, park in the south of the town centre, in the car park along Place du Coudert, near the old school (Salle Antoine Mioche).

(S/E) Head back towards the centre of the village, to the north, on the main street.
(1) Pass a fountain and wash house on a small square on your left and continue straight on along the main street until you reach a small cross. Turn left, pass the bus shelter, then turn left at the church. At a large wash house and drinking fountain, and an old blacksmith's house, ignore Rue du Soleil Levant on the left and follow the street to the right. Pass an oratory on the left and arrive at a larger road, at a large stone cross. Cross carefully to reach the Fontfreyde signpost.

(2) Continue straight ahead along the path towards Beaune-le-Chaud. You will reach the hamlet of Pardon.
(3) At the crossroads at the entrance to the hamlet, at a cross, follow the road to the left, then turn right at the next crossroads (D5). About 50 metres further on, you will see a wash house on the right, slightly below the road. Continue carefully along the edge of the road until you reach the intersection with a path, at a signpost.
Be careful here! The opposite directions have the same signposting! Turn left onto the path, which becomes a trail and climbs up to join another path.

(4) Leave the yellow disc markings and turn right. At the fork, take the path on the right, which leads to a street in Chatrat. Follow it to the left and then, immediately at the fork, keep to the right, passing to the right of the cross. You will find yellow disc markings again.

Ignore a street on the left and arrive at a crossroads with a fountain and wash house.
(5) Turn left and continue for about 50 metres until you reach an intersection with a fountain-drinking trough and a wash house. Turn right and continue straight ahead on this street for about 50 metres, then leave the street on the right and continue straight ahead on the path. Ignore all turnings on the left and continue to the Neufont signpost.
(6) Turn left towards Beaune-le-Chaud. Shortly afterwards, at the crossroads, continue straight ahead. The path descends and arrives at Beaune-le-Chaud at the church.
(7) At the intersection, by the fountain at the foot of the church, turn left. You will soon reach a signpost. Continue towards Beaune-le-Chaud, Rue de la Côte, on the right. Continue straight ahead on this street, ignoring the side streets, and pass a drinking fountain on your right. You will come to a larger road (D52) at an octagonal fountain.
(8) Walk about 50 metres to the right to discover a recently restored wash house (2023) in a small picnic area. Retrace your steps.
(8) Leave the octagonal fountain on your left and continue along the road to the next intersection, where you will see some willow trees and a lodge, then turn right to find the Beaune-le-Chaud signpost. Follow the street towards Croix Parla and immediately pass the Batin drinking fountain on your left.
(9) At the fork in the road, which immediately becomes a path, with a farm building on your right, continue to the left.
(10) At the intersection with the next signpost, continue straight ahead towards Fontfreyde. You will soon reach the next intersection, at the Les Palles Hautes signpost, and continue straight ahead towards Monteillet. Ignore a path on the right. Further on, you will reach an intersection of paths at the edge of a pine forest (number 14 on a tree).

(11) Leave the yellow disc markings and turn left at the hairpin bend. At the fork in the road, keep to the right. Further on, ignore a path on the left and you will come to a road with directional arrows.

(12) Continue along the path opposite, following the Yellow Disc markings again. About 400 m further on, look out for a patch of forest on the left with some attractive wooden creations. Join a wider path at a T-junction.
(13) Follow it to the left. Pass a farm building and ignore a hairpin bend path on the right.

(14) Take the next path on the right, leaving the markings. You will come to a road; follow it to the right and you will soon see the Fontfreyde signpost. Take the path on the left towards Parking de la Cassière and continue to Fontfreyde. At the intersection with Rue du Soleil Levant, keep right, ignore the streets on the left and arrive at the small square with the fountain-wash house.
(1) Turn right to return to the car park (S/E).
