Saint-Sulpice circular starting from Lure

Start from the greenway access point near the Lure railway tracks on Rue de la Reigne. Park in the car park.

(S/E) Take the greenway that leads into the forest.

(1) In Magny-Vernois, cross the street and continue straight ahead until you reach the bridge over the Reigne.

(2) Continue along the greenway until you reach the bridge over the Ognon.

(3) Continue along the greenway until you reach the bridge over the Rahin.

(4) Cross it and the road that follows, and reach the Saline de Gouhenans, near Gouhenans.

(5) Continue along the greenway until you reach the crossroads, with a farm on your left, after crossing a bridge over a path.

(6) Leave the greenway and turn left. Walk alongside the farm, then continue straight on to the church of Saint-Sulpice.

(7) Turn left onto Rue des Pautets and follow the D4.

(8) Cross Villafans, still on the D4, and head towards the church of Athesans.

(9) Turn left onto the D4, Rue de l'Église, towards Lure. Cross the village of Athesans, staying on this departmental road, and continue to the town hall of La Vergenne.

(10) Stay on the D4, drive past the church in Moffans and Vacherresse, and arrive at the junction with the D214.

(11) Continue straight ahead on the D214, Rue de Frotey, towards Frotey-lès-Lure.

(12) At the Frotey-lès-Lure Town Hall, stay on the D214 until you reach a roundabout.

(13) Continue straight ahead on the D214 towards Lure. Enter Roye, cross the bridge over the Rahin, and continue to the junction at^37C Rue d'Héricourt.

(14) Turn left onto the D262, Voie de Lure, and follow it to the roundabout.

(15) Take the fourth exit, D486, enter Lure, and continue to the second roundabout.

(16) Continue right onto the D486 towards Villersexel. Leave it quickly and go straight on to Avenue Carnot. Cross the railway line and arrive at a roundabout.

(17) Turn left onto Avenue de la Gare, then at the next roundabout, go around it to return to the same street (no left turn). Continue for a few metres, then turn right onto Rue Saint-Quentin. Cross the railway tracks and immediately turn right onto Rue de la Métairie. At the end of this street, continue right onto Rue de la Reigne, drive past the water treatment plant and join the greenway (S/E).

You can also park in front of the water treatment plant on Rue de la Reigne.

There are vehicle barriers along the entire length of the greenway. There is no need to dismount your bicycle if you are agile enough.
