Circular route from Longny-au-Perche to Étang du Chevreuil via Rainville

(S/E) From the village's main square, take Rue du Général de Gaulle (to the right of the pharmacy). Stay on the left side of the road (more accessible on foot) and follow it to a roundabout.

(1) Turn right to pass in front of the DIY store and take the dirt track, which turns left and leads to La Boussardière farm.

(2) Turn right after the main building, pass the sheepfold and continue straight on along the road until you reach the D11.

(3) Turn left, pass the Rainville mill and continue along the road for about 400 metres.

(4) Turn right onto a path that enters the forest, continue straight ahead, follow the Étang des Nonnes and arrive at the D608 at the Étang du Chevreuil.

(5) Follow it to the right, passing near the hamlet of La Val du Tellier.

(6) Cross the road and arrive at the village at the police station.

(7) Turn right, walk past the buildings on your right, then the Félix Leclerc College on your left, and continue along the street, which is circular and turns to the right. You will come out onto Rue de Chartres, D918.

(8) First turn right then left to cross it carefully, pass over the Jambée river and turn left into Rue du Vieux Moulin. Return to Rue de Chartres and follow it to the village's central square (S/E).

Easy walk even in wet weather.
