Circular walk in the Majella Nature Park starting from Lama dei Peligni

This walk offers the chance to spot wild chamois in the Majella Nature Park. Plan to set off in the morning or return in the late afternoon to maximise your chances of seeing them. Otherwise, the views and panoramas across the Abruzzo National Park are magnificent.

Notes

This walk can be done either way. In the suggested direction (anti-clockwise), the start is entirely through woodland and the end of the route is in full sun. However, the climb is less steep when walking in this direction.
