Circular route in the north of Peneda-Gerês National Park from the Lima Escape campsite

The walk starts at the Lima Escape campsite, but it is also possible to set off from the village of Entre Ambos-os-Rios. Part of the walk takes place in an area that was burnt a few years ago, but the paths are still clearly visible and safe. There are magnificent and varied landscapes.

Description of the walk

The route starts and finishes at the Lima Escape campsite, but it is possible to set off from the village of Entre Ambos-Os-Rios.
There is no dedicated signposting as this route follows various marked trails. The trails are always well maintained, despite passing through a section of woodland that burnt down a few years ago.
Very varied scenery
