A very pleasant walk in fine weather around Bath, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the city on the way back. Well signposted – just follow the yellow ‘Bath Skyline Walk’ arrows. It’s a mix of paths, woodland and open countryside with very few roads.
Tunnels and Kennet and Avon Canal
A walk with fine views over Bath. Then a taste of 19th Century transport following the Somerset and Dorset disused railway through two tunnels, with information about the railway's history. Later picking up the Kennet and Avon Canal for the return journey to Bath.
