Bändan, between north and south on the banks of the Dalälven

The Bändan route offers a wonderful immersion in one of the most unique landscapes of Färnebofjärden. Here, the Dalälven creates a world of water, wet forests and small islands, where the boreal atmosphere of the north meets the more southern deciduous trees: this is the Limes Norrlandicus, the biological boundary between northern and southern Sweden.
