Baiona walks

Part of the Portuguese Way of Saint James. The Vigo estuary begins in Baiona, protected by the Cíes Islands, the heart of the Atlantic Islands National Park. Along the Way, you will find beautiful examples of traditional architecture, historic country houses and calvaries.

Starting from the monastery of Santa María da Armenteira, located in the village of Meis, hike through forests of eucalyptus, chestnut and pine trees. The paths are well marked. No major difficulties. An hour after setting off, there is a beautiful view of the valley and the sea in the distance.
