Baiona walks

Part of the Portuguese Way of Saint James. Baiona is where the Vigo estuary begins, protected by the Cíes Islands, the heart of the Atlantic Islands National Park. Along the Way, you will find beautiful examples of traditional architecture, historic pazos and calvaries.

Starting from the monastery of Santa María da Armenteira, located in the village of Meis, hike through forests of eucalyptus, chestnut and pine trees. The paths are well marked. No major difficulties. An hour after setting off, there is a beautiful view of the valley and the sea in the distance.
