The starting point for this hike is 450 m before the hamlet of Valberg when coming from the north on road 815.
(S/E) Head north. The first half of the hike is fairly flat. It runs alongside a river, which is not difficult except for the mud on the trail. After about 1.4 km, the trail turns east and away from the river.
(1) After about 200 m, turn left (northeast) and start climbing. You will eventually reach a pass (a junction of several trails with a nice view of lakes and the sea).
(2) Then turn right. At the crossroads that you will soon come to, follow the path on the left (south-east) uphill.
(3) At the fork located at an altitude of approximately 300 m, turn right. The trail runs along the side of the mountain. There may be snow (there was still some in June): in this case, be careful not to slip. During the season, you will encounter sheep on the trail.
(4) Towards the end, the trail becomes increasingly difficult, and it is no longer visible, requiring you to climb over boulders. Head south and carefully plan your route to reach the summit, which offers magnificent views.
(5) Return via the same route to the starting point (S/E).
