(2) Turn right and look out over Pointe de Saint-Hernot or Île Vierge, which has been closed to the public for safety reasons since March 2020; it remains a beautiful viewpoint over this beach. Continue along the coastal path towards Pointe de Rostudel. Follow the path carefully, as it is currently being repaired following the significant damage caused by Storm Ciran (2022). Pass a sign indicating the access to the hamlet of Saint-Nogard.
(3) Continue along the stony coastal path (Armorican sandstone), which alternates between steep climbs and rapid descents. Pass Pointe du Dolmen and look out over Anse Saint-Nicolas: a beautiful viewpoint over Douarnenez Bay, dominated by Ménez-Hom, the highest peak of the Montagnes Noires. Along the way, note a fountain and a wash house, the only source of water for the inhabitants of the hamlet of Kerroux before the arrival of running water. You’ll reach a Fork in the road (signposted Rostuel)

(4) Head up to the right, leaving the coastal path, and reach the hamlet of Rostudel, a former fishing and farming village, via a very damp grassy path (May 2024). Note the compact layout of the buildings, which resembles defensive architecture (here against the wind).
(5) Stroll through the hamlet, then retrace your steps back to the coastal path.

(4) Turn right, pass by a fountain and a wash house – the only source of water for the inhabitants of the hamlet of Rostudel – then past the ruins of an old coastal battery, largely buried in vegetation, and join another path coming from the hamlet of Rostudel.
(6) Continue along the coastal path, which veers to the left: this is the most flower-filled part of the route (May 2024), featuring asphodels.
(7) Continue steadily towards Cap de la Chèvre, the southern tip of the Crozon Peninsula: “view of the Cap Sizun coast and the Pointe du Van. Here too, please stay on the path marked by a rope to protect the vegetation. Pass below the semaphore and arrive at the Naval Aviation Memorial.
(8) After visiting the site, pass a large blockhouse and continue along a path alternating between gentle ascents and descents. Turn north-east and begin a descent towards Anse de Porzh Kreguen. Note the much shorter vegetation, as it is exposed to the prevailing westerly winds, and also the absence of trees.
(9) Head back up, pass two headlands where you can see the folds caused by geological upheavals, and arrive at the large Plage de la Palue, a popular spot with surfers.
(10) Continue along the path on the dune bordering this beach to a car park visible on the hill below the village of La Palue.

(13) Keep left, pass a small dolmen and turn left to enter the hamlet of Kerdreux, which has a more austere character.
(14) Turn right into the first narrow lane and continue along a grassy, very damp path (May 2024) until you reach a wide stony track.
(15) Turn left and follow this wide path straight on; it leads to the D255, which you follow for a few metres.
(16) Just before No. 12, turn left onto a path that leads out opposite the Chapel of Saint-Hernot. Turn right, cross a road and head to the car park (S/E).
