(2) Turn right and overlook Pointe de Saint-Hernot or Île Vierge, which has been closed to the public for safety reasons since March 2020, but remains a beautiful viewpoint over this beach. Continue along the coastal path towards Pointe de Rostudel. Follow the path carefully as it is currently being rebuilt following significant damage caused by Storm Ciran (2022). Pass a sign indicating the access to the hamlet of Saint-Nogard.
(3) Continue along the stony coastal path (Armorican sandstone) which alternates between steep climbs and rapid descents. Pass Pointe du Dolmen and overlook Anse Saint-Nicolas: a beautiful viewpoint over Douarnenez Bay dominated by Ménez-Hom, the highest point of the Montagnes Noires. Along the way, note a fountain and a wash house, the only source of water for the inhabitants of the hamlet of Kerroux before the arrival of running water. Arrive at a fork (Rostuel sign)
