The starting point is near the old barracks. From the M8-1 road (P11), between car parks 9 and 10, take the small road towards Crkvice. Climb for 7 km until you see an information sign next to a parking area.
(S/E) Head north on a path and follow the direction indicated by the sign (white dot in a red circle). After a right turn, join a road.
(1) Then turn right at a 90° angle (follow the markings).
(2) Shortly afterwards, turn left to climb up to Kom Fortress (be careful, the ruins are dangerous).
(3) Descend via the same route.
(2) Continue left (east) on the main path. This is where the rampart walk really begins, following roughly the ridge line. Pass at the foot of Visoka Glava and descend to quickly reach a cave.
(4) Continue eastwards and downhill. Walk along the ridge for a long time until you reach some masonry ruins. This is probably the best vantage point for viewing the bay.
(5) Continue for another 600 metres or so to reach the foot of Velji Vrh on its western slope.
(6) Turn around and follow the same route back to the car park (S/E).
