Parking at the start of the route is available on the side of the D246 between Lablachère and Saint-Alban (see details in practical information).
(S/E) Cross the road and take the path opposite. Pass by a ruin and continue to a large area of rocks with a deep karstic cave on the right. Immediately after, join a path marked in white and yellow, which you take to the left. After a slightly steep descent, you will arrive at the flat bottom of a sinkhole.
(1) Just after a small left-right zigzag, leave the marked path and take a good path on the right. Leave a path on the left, pass to the right of a small pond. After walking along a large meadow on the left and another pond on the right, you will arrive at a crossroads.
(2) Turn right, then left at the next crossroads. Look for a ruined house on the left.
(3) About a hundred metres further on, in a left-hand bend, leave the main path and turn onto a smaller path on the right a little way back. Leave a path on the left and continue to a four-way crossroads.
(4) Turn right back, after an uphill climb and a left turn, you will arrive at a crossroads on a flat area.
(5) Turn right. The path indicated straight ahead on OpenStreetMap is somewhat lost in the undergrowth. After a short descent to a flat area, you will come to a cross path, which you take to the left.
(6) After a short zigzag left/right, turn left onto a small track climbing up the rocks. Join a wider path coming up on the left and continue straight ahead. Pass under a rock arch. After a short descent, join a path near the four-way crossroads you passed earlier. Take this path to the right and reach the bottom of a sinkhole before a short climb.
(7) Turn right onto a path that winds through the vegetation, then between two small cliffs among moss-covered tree trunks. Continue to a cross path, which you take to the left. You will arrive at the foot of a rock just in line with the path.
(8) Turn right, slightly back, onto rocks, onto a path marked in white and yellow. Before an ascent between the rocks, make a short detour to the right to see the karstic cave du Reméjadou. Then continue to the Le Reméjadou hiking post. Turn right. On a grassy plateau after a short climb, leave the marked trail and turn left onto a wide track that leads back to the D246. Take this road to the right to return to the starting point (S/E).
. Be careful with children or dogs, though, as there are unmarked and unprotected karstic caves, crevices and faults in the rocks. The only downside was the gloomy, wet weather, but that was just bad luck. I'll do it again in the summer.
