The walk starts from the Roste Hyttetun campsite along a path marked in yellow on the OSM map. After a 45-minute gentle climb through pine trees and rocky terrain, the path reaches the mountain hut. It was a lovely surprise to find this place empty when we visited. The view is splendid and the weather was lovely. You can sunbathe on the terrace. The return route takes you through a bog and a pine forest. A lovely, easy hike to unwind from the usual strenuous Norwegian hikes.
