A footpath running alongside the road and the coastline, with a few sections shared with traffic where caution is advised. On arrival in Portofino – a magnificent harbour and town well worth a visit – carry on to the lighthouse, which is of moderate interest, passing by a tower (entrance fee applies). Return to Santa Margherita Ligure via roughly the same route and enjoy a very pleasant visit to the town (harbour and historic centre).
