- 10 : km 7.44 - alt. 21 m - left onto Caerleon Road - Vehicles re-join route here

- 13 : km 10.62 - alt. 15 m - Right on Cold Bath Road, then left onto path. Vehicle access at Cold Bath Road, Water station at Cemetery
- 14 : km 13.16 - alt. 16 m - Left on Pillmawr Road then left again off road and onto river pathway. No vehicular access
- 15 : km 14.45 - alt. 8 m - Leave path and forward onto Albany Road - Vehicles rejoin route here
- 16 : km 14.56 - alt. 8 m - around roundabout, left up onto Heidenheim Drive and left heading towards Newport
- 17 : km 16.34 - alt. 8 m - Sharp left off Usk Way, then right onto river path. No vehicular access
- 18 : km 16.77 - alt. 6 m - left over pedestrian bridge
- 19 : km 16.93 - alt. 7 m - right onto southbound river pathway
- 20 : km 18.83 - alt. 8 m - right onto Corporation road, then right onto SDR bridge . Runners on pavement, no vehicular access.
- 21 : km 19.72 - alt. 9 m - right onto Usk Way - then right onto East Dock Road. Water Station and vehicular access for 100metres
- 22 : km 20.02 - alt. 9 m - left onto river pathway heading towards city centre and finish.
- E : km 21.19 - alt. 4 m
