Waypoints

  1. S/E : km 0 - alt. 4 m
  2. 1 : km 0.02 - alt. 4 m - The Anglesey Coast Path is really well signed. Just follow the signs along the coast southwards. I've added additional directions where there is a choice of routes. Head for the promenade and follow the signs southwards.
  3. 2 : km 2.19 - alt. 20 m - The coastal path goes through the caravan site, but the signage is very good. Just follow the signs.
  4. 3 : km 5.19 - alt. 52 m - It is worth finding a track through the gorse bushes up to the excellent stone shelter at the highest point.
  5. 4 : km 5.33 - alt. 57 m - Find a track down through the gorse bushes. Head southwards to get back on to the coastal path.
  6. 5 : km 5.96 - alt. 11 m - The route through Ty-crainge is intricate, but it is very well signed.
  7. 6 : km 6.41 - alt. 1 m - Once at the beach, there is an option to take a more inland approach, or to head across the beach. The beach option is better, but may not be possible at very high tides.
  8. 7 : km 7.02 - alt. 3 m - A coastal path sign was curiously missing at this point. At the junction of tracks, go straight on. It feels a bit like you are going into somebody's garden (there is a bit of a gate), but you aren't.
  9. 8 : km 9.68 - alt. 2 m - Barbed wire prevents progress further along the coast. Turnaround and follow the same route back to Trearddur as used on the outward journey.
  10. 9 : km 12.26 - alt. 5 m - At the junction of paths, turn left to take the beach route, or continue straight on to take the inland route.
  11. S/E : km 18.92 - alt. 4 m
