- 1 : km 15.6 - alt. 1,689 m - Horsetooth Reservoir South Bay Campground - Reservation sites as well as first come first serve (FCFS); all sites $20 weeknight/ $26 weekend.
- 2 : km 24.41 - alt. 1,641 m - Masonville Mercantile - A quirky convenience store that doubles as a costume shop. Note: this is the last chance to pick up extra snacks for about 45mi (with quite a bit of climbing).
- 3 : km 44.23 - alt. 2,014 m - Buckhorn Creek - Most of the climb up Pennock Pass follows Buckhorn Creek, and there are several opportunities to stop and filter.
- 4 : km 59.56 - alt. 2,525 m - Ranger Station - While this ranger station seems to be closed indefinitely, there is a working spigot that you can see from the gate.
- 5 : km 71.88 - alt. 2,476 m - South Fork of the Poudre - Plenty of spots to stop at filter for the first few miles on Pingree Park Rd.
- 6 : km 71.98 - alt. 2,475 m - Dispersed Camping - There are several free dispersed camping options along Pingree Park Rd.
