- 1 : km 0 - alt. 109 m - Start point is at the Moffat Ram, parking is on the High Street Moffat - D1
- 2 : km 0.18 - alt. 111 m - Head up the High Street away from the Ram towards the Old Moffat Academy, Turn right up Harthope place (far side of the Church) - D2
- 3 : km 0.4 - alt. 123 m - Turn left at the top of Harthope Place heading up the Beechwood towards Gallowhill - D3
- 4 : km 1.33 - alt. 195 m - Head up the Beechwood onto the Gallowhill and turn left heading up the hill - D4
- 5 : km 1.71 - alt. 220 m - Turn left at the Yellow marker pole just as you start to veer right towards pinnacle of the Gallow Climb, head up the small track and pass through kissing gate into field - D5
- 6 : km 2.16 - alt. 210 m - Crossover the field to the far gate and pass through kissing gate and head to the right - D6
- 7 : km 2.22 - alt. 208 m - Follow path for short distance to right and look for stony path heading down to the left - D7
- 8 : km 2.34 - alt. 199 m - Follow path as it crosses over burn and heading up onto Hind Hill - D7
- 9 : km 2.6 - alt. 244 m - Head up the hill towards the small cairn - D8
- 10 : km 2.9 - alt. 293 m - run round the summit cairn and return back down the hill - D9
- 11 : km 3.5 - alt. 201 m - Retrace your steps back down the hill and round the paths back to the field - D10
- 12 : km 4.13 - alt. 219 m - Turn right and head back down the Gallowhill to where you joined it at the top of Beechwood - D11
- 13 : km 5.11 - alt. 150 m - Retrace route back down Beechwood, Harthope Place and High Street back to the finish at the Ram - D12
- S/E : km 5.83 - alt. 109 m
