- 1 : km 0.1 - alt. 147 m - Head towards the end of Markotter Road and take the shortcut accross the field.
- 2 : km 0.21 - alt. 143 m - Cross over the Pedestrian Crossing, then Turn Right into Martinson Road - Martinson
- 3 : km 0.6 - alt. 140 m - Continue past the High School - Stellenbosch High School
- 4 : km 0.92 - alt. 134 m - If the gate is open, you may enter here into Jan Marais Park. This is a public park and botanical reserve. If you have the time, wander around in the park a little, making your way towards the west. - Jan Marais Park

- 9 : km 2.48 - alt. 122 m - Turn into the Botanical Gardens. There is a small entrance fee. Spend some time in the gardens to see all kinds of interesting plants from all over the world. If you like have lunch at the restaurant. Exit on the western side of the gardens into Plein Street. - Botanical Gardens

- 11 : km 3.19 - alt. 111 m - Turn left into Bird Street, or cross to road to the big open field called The Braak and visit some informal artists.
- 12 : km 3.32 - alt. 113 m - Follow the pedestrian walkway through the center of the block. Here you can find a steak house, a Japanese restaurant, as well as Greengate, highly recommended for lunch. - Pedestrian Walkway
- 13 : km 3.36 - alt. 113 m - Exit on the Southern Side into Church Street. Spend some time in Church Street. Here you can enjoy ice cream or visit leather shops with ostrich leather. Some touristic keepsake shops as well as a number of art galleries. Even more places for lunch here. - Church Street
