Description
Start : Plodda Falls car park. Grid ref. NH 27996 23807
(S/E) From the information boards at Plodda Falls car park, head North down the main footpath.
For this route, you are following the white way markers in an anti-clockwise direction. Ignore the way markers pointing left to the falls, instead continuing ahead (North) through a gate.
(1) At first, the way markers will show both white and green lines, but look out for a left (West) turn 300m along to continue along the white route.
Here the path narrows and there is a steep descent to reach a viewpoint at the base of Plodda Falls. Return to the main path and at a crossroads turn right (South East).
(2) Head up a set of steps to reach the fantastic viewing platform suspended above the falls. To return to Plodda Falls car park, continue East along the path next to the burn to arrive back at the gate you went through at the start (S/E)
