Ballymena walks

A circular route encompassing a demesne, riverside paths and public paths.

Covering an area of 12 acres People's park boasts a modern well-equipped children’s playground, toddler area, floodlit tennis courts and bowling green. The Pavillion and outside decking around the edge of the dam offers a safe focal point to view the ducks and swans.

The route circumvents the 50 acre Gallaher Limited site in Galgorm, Ballymena through fields and a riverside path.

The ecos millennium environmental centre hosts fun interative facilities, an environmental education centre and conferencing / exhibition centre.

Broughshane is known as the “Garden Village of Ulster” thanks to its floral displays. Over 75,000 flowers are planted annually winning the village many national and international awards. Suitable for wheel chair users.
