The Chiltern Society organises walks, cycle rides and events throughout the year to encourage people to get out and enjoy the Chilterns. Now we have published some of our favourite walks on Visorando for you guide yourself and enjoy the best of the Chilterns.

The Chiltern Society has been active for almost 60 years helping people improve their part of the Chilterns. We are tackling some of the most serious threats to the countryside: climate change, overbearing development and disappearing green spaces and wildlife.

Country paths are a major focus of our volunteer work – we monitor the 2,200 miles of paths and bridleways that criss-cross the Chilterns and work with the local authorities to maintain and restore them.
