Starting from the village of Nohèdes, the route climbs to three lakes forming part of the Nohèdes Nature Reserve: Estany del Clot, Gorg Estelat and Gorg Nègre. At the foot of the majestic Pic de Madrès, this hike takes you through a magnificent landscape of torrents, lakes, meadows and pine forests where pastoral activity is very much alive, as the ever-present and highly active "patous" are keen to remind hikers.
