Underbank Reservoir to Ladybower Inn

Nice long moorland walk using public transport to facilitate a linear walk. There are a couple of road miles to start with, but the roads are not too busy. This is not a fun route in poor weather as it's quite exposed and there isn't really an obvious alternative.

Description of the walk

Start: Catch the 57 to Unsliven Bridge.

Once you leave the road, follow the route over heather moorland to reach Margery Hill.

The first section follows a nice path through the heather before joining the cut gate path.

From here, it gets more interesting with nice views down to the reservoirs and across the peaks.

Descend to the Ladybower Inn for refreshments and the bus back to Sheffield.
