Description of the walk

Start: From the car park after Tyninghame Links. Grid ref. NT 626 809

(S/E) From the car park, take right on the path that goes into Links Wood following a fence on your right hand side. Continue on this path until reaching the edge of the forest (around 700m).

(1) Take left on the path following the shore of the Tyne Mouth. Continue on this path turning around St Baldred's Cradle and reaching the beach. Continue along the beach until seeing a path that goes in the direction of the forest.

(2) Take left to go up in the forest. Once in the forest take the main path on the right. Continue straight until seeing an intersection of paths.

(3) Take left (South-East) and continue straight for around 400m before turning right to reach the car park (S/E)

Car park: From Dunbar, after the village of Tyninghame take the second right (limetree walk), continue until the end to reach the car park, (EH42 1XW), Dunbar. Parking around £2 a day.

Dog friendly: Yes, forest and beach tracks. No stiles.
