Description of the walk

Start: Nabs Road, just after The Crag Inn pub, (SK11 0BD) Grid ref. SJ 980 681

(S/E) Walk North-East on Nabs Road. After a couple of meters turn left on the footpath Shutlingsloe Walk (South-West). Continue on this path until reaching Nabs Road again. Turn right and after a couple of meters turn right on the footpath Shutlingsloe Walk (North) following Highmoor Brook. Continue on this footpath Shutlingsloe Walk until reaching Ridge Hill Road.

(1) At the road, turn right (North) and continue straight on this road (do not turn left at the bend). Continue walking on the road until reaching a car park with a toilet.

(2) Continue on this road for a couple of meters before turning right to take the Shutlingsloe Walk path. Keep following this path, ignoring all the side paths until reaching Shutlingsloe summit.

(3) Once at the summit go down still using the Shutlingsloe Walk path (South) until reaching Nabs road. Stay on the road turning left to find the car. (S/E)
