(S/E) You can start the walk near the hamlet of Larougie, going either way. My description follows an anti-clockwise route.
Continue along the road and, at the junction, turn right towards Sérignac Péboudou
(1) You’ll walk alongside a large stone wall on your left. At the end of this wall, take the path on the left. At the end of this path, at the crossroads, turn left.
(2) At the end of the lane, take the road on the left, then turn left again at the junction (the road going uphill).
(3) At the junction, take the lane on your right and pass the hamlet of Carbonnières. Continue straight on along the dirt track, keeping Le Tuquet on your right.
(4) At the end of the track, turn left onto the road, then left again onto the dirt track running alongside the ditch, just after that. Ignore a track on the left and continue alongside the Ruisseau de Lacalège.
(5) At the end of the track, turn left onto the road until you reach the next junction.
(6) Turn right and, at the second junction, turn left onto the D161. Be careful if you’re on horseback or walking a dog – there’s a bend a little further on and cars may not see you, so keep a close watch.
(7) Be careful: walk on the left-hand side of the road, as if a car is approaching from the opposite direction or from behind, they usually cut the bend and you won’t have room to pull over (there’s a ditch with no verge and a house immediately after, so visibility is zero).
(8) Take the path on the right between the fields and turn left at the end, then right to walk alongside the hedge and the ditch.
When you reach the road, you’ve arrived (S/E).
