Café and bakery in Poolewe.
A short, easy hike. You will pass through lush green vegetation as you circle Loch Kernsary, a breathtaking landscape, ending up along the River Ewe, where it is not uncommon to see salmon swimming upstream in summer.

A very beautiful hike with breathtaking scenery. The first half offers constant views of Loch Kernsary, with different perspectives along the way. The second half is more forested, with the river visible between the trees. We had the pleasant surprise of encountering sheep there. An easy, enjoyable route, with few people on Sunday 31 August (we only came across one other pair).
