Follow the D117A (Chemin des Oliviers) north-east until you reach a roundabout. Take the left-hand road marked Domaine de la Tour.
Park just behind the sign on the right under the trees.
(S/E) Go up the small paved road that climbs towards Domaine de la Tour. Just after a left-hand bend, look for a wide path on the right blocked by piles of earth to prevent vehicles from entering.
Turn right and cross the piles of earth to follow the wide path that climbs north-west.
(1) When you reach a gate, go around it and leave the path that climbs into the valley to follow a small path on the right that climbs up the hill. After 150m of fairly steep climbing, you will reach a large plateau.
Leave the path on the left and right and continue straight ahead, following the main path marked by stone markers. Follow this path, keeping to the same north-easterly direction, ignoring all the paths on either side, even if they sometimes appear wider. You will reach a tarmac road (Chemin des Perrières).
(2) Turn right at a right angle onto this road, ignore the first path on the left, then the second (Chemin de Safrus), and continue for a few metres until you reach a third (Chemin du Devois).
Take this path on the left, which is indicated by a sign. Follow it, pass a barrier preventing vehicle access and continue uphill. Leave the entrance to a property on your right and continue along the fences until you reach four large stones on the right, which prevent access to a path.
(3) Turn right onto this path, which becomes a beautiful trail winding along the cliffs with beautiful views of the Rhône valley (this path is very popular with mountain bikers). Stay on the right-hand side of the trail to rejoin Chemin du Devois.
(4) Turn right onto the tarmac road for about 100 metres, then look for a path that branches off to the right just after a hunting post. Follow this path, which continues along the cliffs, offering beautiful views. Once again, stay on the right-hand track. You will return to the Chemin du Devois.
(5) Continue right on this path, passing under a power line, and continue to the end, where you will find Château Pointu.
(7) Return by staying on the Chemin du Devois, which crosses a few intersections you passed on the way there.
(3) Continue along the same route as on the way there in the opposite direction and return to the car park (S/E).
