This hike is possible from mid-June/late June to late September, depending on snow conditions.
This is a long hike in Olympic Park, north of Seattle, which leads to the magnificent Lake Angeles, dominated by cliffs. Continuing on, you can easily reach the Klahhane Ridge (1,843 m). The climb is very wooded, then you come out onto terrain typical of an ancient volcanic area. You can return via the same route. For more experienced hikers, a circular route via the ridge and then the valleys further west, avoiding Second Top and First Top, will take you back to the starting point.
